专利摘要:
The invention relates to a connecting ring for tubular pipes of high-pressure fluids, comprising an inner metal ring, preferably composed of two independent and identical half-rings (1, 1a), and side edges (2) bent at an angle. right inward. These edges thus constitute the positioning and support elements of a seal (3), with the appropriate shape and profile, supported by the ends of the two tubular conduits (4, 4a) to be connected.

Description: The present invention relates to a connecting ring for tubular conduits for fluids under high pressure. This ring is intended for the joining of tubular conduits, generally cylindrical pipes, for conveying fluids under high pressure, and whose essential characteristics are described below: The conduit of fluids under high pressure through tubular conduits must provide a guarantee of maximum safety at the connection points of one segment of the pipe to the next. Although it is true that in this type of pipe, segments of considerable length can be installed by joining several unit elements, using the appropriate welding, to obtain these lengths, all in order to minimize connections. However, it is necessary to have connecting elements, to connect the segments of significant length, ensuring a total seal and the flexibility necessary to absorb the expansions and movements produced by the pressure to which the pipe is subjected due to the passage fluid therein, fluid that flows under high pressure. To install these pipes, pipes manufactured by extrusion of thermoplastic material are currently more and more used, their physicochemical characteristics are appropriate to withstand the aggression of the same fluid products that are transported under pressure, both the liquids and gas, as well as the aggression of external elements, when the pipes are installed in the open air, but also when they are buried. In the same way, the material used for the manufacture of these ducts must be able to withstand the tensions that can occur once installed and during their use. STATE OF THE ART [0004] Currently, various types of junctions are used for the connection of unitary pipe elements and segments of greater length, in order to form a duct suitable for transporting fluids under high pressure. In the patent ES 2002 02 246 are presented connecting flanges for the smooth ends of the two ducts or unitary tubes whose sealing is guaranteed by the action of metal rings that bear and are fixed on the surface of the tubes. Although the goal is to achieve a completely watertight connection, the safety is limited by the fact that the ducts can expand or contract because of temperature changes, especially pipes made with polypropylene, with high sensitivity to change of temperature. temperature. It is also worth mentioning the utility model ES 2010 030 655 U which has connecting flanges for pipes to conduct fluids under high pressure, formed by an inner metal ring, generally divided into two halves, covered with a another outer ring, in two halves too, with its two ends folded for the installation of the connecting collars, being fixed to one another, once the rings are installed, thanks to a weld. The disadvantage of this embodiment is that the edges of the seal located under the rings, are not sufficiently protected, causing excessive deterioration, as welds are limited and n ' do not offer a total guarantee of stability and fixing of the outer rings on the interiors. OBJECT OF THE PRESENT INVENTION [0008] The connection ring for tubular conduits for high-pressure fluids, which is the subject of the present invention, has the features of claim 1. Preferred embodiments are defined in the dependent claims. The invention proposes a solution to overcome the disadvantages of existing devices, which have been cited in the previous paragraphs. Under the inner metal ring ring, there are two metal rings with preformed edges which surround, on the entire perimeter, the two edges of the seal of the assembly, to protect these edges and prevent deterioration of these last. Advantageously, the junction between the outer and inner metal rings with welding, will be improved by elongated fingerprints made on the outer ring to have a larger contact line between the two rings, as will be described below. . The connecting ring, object of this invention, is a double ring, divided into two halves, the two halves being similar and fully secured, and a suitable size for its clamping function. The outer perimeter is perfectly adaptable in the diametral direction, to exert sufficient perimetric pressure to prevent any accidental displacement of the ends of the tubular conduits to be connected, caused by the pressures that may occur in the connection zone. Similarly it has two rings that fit on the edges of the seal of the assembly, for the protection of these.

Claims (4) [1] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES [0013] In order to complete the description for a person skilled in the art, a practical embodiment of the ring which is the subject of this invention is described below by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the drawings, among which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the connection ring described, showing a small detail of the part of one of the rings covering the edge of the seal, sectioned and separated from its final location; Fig. 2 is a partial sectional view of the ring, according to section AA, fully mounted and installed on the ends of the tubular conduits that are connected; Fig. 3 is a detail, in section of one of the protective rings of the edges of the seal, duly enlarged for clarity; and FIG. 4 shows in detail one of the zones with imprint of the outer ring, allowing welding with the corresponding inner ring. DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT [0014] According to the figures mentioned above, the connecting ring for the tubular conduits, intended for the transport of fluids, liquids or gases under high pressure, consists of a metal ring formed in the the example shown, by two halves or rings identical and identical 1 and 1a, whose side edges 2 are folded inward in a right angle, which in their position constitute the edges holding the seal 3. This seal sealing 3 has a known profile, characteristic and suitable for maintaining the seal in the connection zone of the two tubular ducts which are face to face 4 and 4a. The edges of the seal 3 are advantageously covered over their entire outer perimeter each by metal shields 5 shaped preformed "U", to be placed perfectly adapted to said perimeter edges of the seal 3, for offer full protection to the above-mentioned edges and to prevent their deterioration. The connecting ring is completed with a second outer ring, the same material as the inner ring 1/1 a, also consisting of two halves 6 and 6a with their side edges 7 bent outwardly at right angles. All the half-rings, inner and outer, are placed so as to coincide and the outer ones 6 and 6a are superimposed on the inner ones 1 and 1a, the outer rings have extensions at each of their four ends to form folds 8 and serve of housing to the connecting collars and tightening of the connecting ring. Once the outer and inner half-rings positioned, in accordance with the preceding indications, during their manufacture the outer half-rings 6 and 6a are permanently fixed on the inner half-rings 1 and 1a by a weld. First, a perimetric spot weld is made on the corresponding edges on both sides of the rings, and secondly, spot welds are made on the upper face of the upper rings 1 and 1 coinciding with the edge of the oblong holes 11, made in the outer half-rings 6 and 6a. These welds provide great strength to the whole, both at the coincident lateral edges that the central part of the rings themselves. Finally, cylindrical pins 12, placed under the folds 8 at the ends of the outer rings, constitute the fastening and clamping elements of the connecting ring. The two cylindrical pins are placed in parallel and facing each other, with holes 13 coincident and positioned facing notches 14 in the folded ends 8 to receive the threaded bolts 15 which allow the closing and opening of the connecting ring, following a screwing action or unscrewing. The essential characteristics of the ring object of the present invention being described, it should be indicated that any variation in size, shape, appearance and finish of the ring in its practical embodiment, as well as the types of material used for their manufacture, in no way alter the scope of protection of the invention, defined in the following claims. claims 1.
